*characters:*
-Kotoko[age 18]:She's in one of the worst stream in her secondary school. Cheerful & happy-go-lucky, she had a HUGE crush on Naoki ever since sec. 1. She came from a rich family background, but her mother died when she was young & her father was often not at home, leaving her alone at home most of the time with the maids.
-Naoki[age 18]:He's in the same school as Kotoko, a 100% pure genius[he had a high IQ of 200~!]He had several ladies swooning over him everyday[who wouldn't? smart, handsome & rich?!]. However, he's very 'cold' inside. He’s also from a rich family background, his mother a housewife & his father the chairperson of a huge & enterprising company.
-Yuuki[age 14]:Naoki's younger brother. Admire his brother a lot, hates Kotoko A LOT as he thinks that she's an idiot! Often referred to as bossy & problematic.
-Kinnosuke; a.k.a.: Kin-chan[age 18]: He had a MAJOR crush on Kotoko, & refused to face the reality that his 'future-to-be-wife?!' like Naoki. He tries his very best to protect Kotoko from other guys' 'attack'...often causing him to do silly & nonsensical things...
-Kotoko's father:Mr. Aihara Shigeo
-Naoki & Yuuki's parents:Mr. Irie Shigeki

*Storyline:*
Kotoko had a crush on Naoki[school's No. 1 hottest guy]ever since she first saw him. Juz as they were in their last year,she decided to confess to him.However, Naoki refused Kotoko's affection pointblank & in front of everybody,much to the embarrassment of Kotoko. Despite this...Kotoko still loved Naoki with all her heart. Unfortunately, one day, Naoki insulted her & her friends. Kotoko then shouted back at him...however, Kotoko still love him, although it was a one-way thing... ...
After many setbacks & so on...the couple only dated for one day[that's y it's call ~jUz a dAy~] due to one reason or another.[keke, i can't tell u first...if not, it wun be a nice story already]they make a promise, to meet again 5 years later... ...
[i know this storyline kinda lame, & the 'summary' is kinda abrupt, but please bear with me~! =0P
Prologue
Hi there,everyone~! My name's Kotoko...i'm studying in this secondary school. Now entering into my last year...i still find it kinda unbelievable though...*sigh*...how time flies...wish that i could stay here longer...
"Kotoko Aihara! Daydreaming in class again! Can't u ever behave urself & devote ur time to studying?! the exams for university entry is juz round the corner...& here u are~! Daydreaming~!!! u could stay here longer...another year, if u continue to be like this!"
Sniggers broke out everywhere.Kotoko's face turned crimson red as the teacher rant on about the unjust & bad habits of daydreaming. A stab of annoyance hit her, it’s not as if she can help it...this teacher's lesson is too boring, besides...it is scientifically proven that daydreaming helps stimulate one's mind & brain...feeding it with the necessary 'food'...
'RRrrrring...'the bell rang shrilly. Ahz...finally, lessons over...Kotoko began to pack her bag as the teacher talked about the upcoming assignments they need to complete. Her two best pals, Zinko & Satomi, slid up to her.
"Kotoko...wanna hang out today?Shopping mall, cinema or ur home?"
"Nonono..."a finger shook in front of Zinko's face. "Kotoko's going to go out with me...right Kotoko?" A guy walks to Kotoko's side & looks at her hopefully.
"Nopez...Kin-chan,not today...i wanna hang out with them today..."With this,Kotoko turned to her waiting friends, leaving a disappointed Kinnosuke behind...
"Wanna go where today?"
"My house...i guess,I can ask the maids to cook something for us..."
"Cool Kotoko~!Let's go~!" with that,the three girls walk out of the classroom happily.
"What about me...?"Kinnosuke wails,"Nevermind Kotoko...i will wait for u...no matter how long...i will wait for u..."looks disappointedly at the door,"But still...how much longer do i haf to wait?!"

Kotoko walks alongside with Zinko & Satomi along the school's crowded corridor. The whole school had juz been dismissed & everywhere, people were talking & joking.Juz then,Kotoko faced burnt red. The whole corridor started to snigger, pointing at her & a handsome guy.She groaned inwardly.
"Kotoko,"Satomi poked her in the ribs,"ur dream guy..."
Kotoko glared at Satomi as she let out a snigger. Her gaze then turned onto a guy, the guy returned a cold stare & turned away, talking to his friend as though nothing had happened. Kotoko let out a sigh. She was so foolish...y did she do it?
-=Flashback=-
"Irie, I...I had something to give u,hope u will accept it." Kotoko bowed low,holding a letter in her hands,which were shivering due to fright.
Naoki looked at her. "Dun want."
With that, he turned away, leaving Kotoko standing there with much embarrassment. Whispers filled the air as students started gossiping.
"Do u know that Kotoko...yar,the girl from 3F? She had confessed her love to Irie Naoki...the guy of 3A!"
"What?! what happened...?"
"He rejected her on the spot...if i was her, i would haf run home,never to show my face again..."
"Yar...it's so embarrassing..."
"Yar...& who do she thinks she is, Irie is every girl's dream guy & prince-charming..."
Kotoko walked back, dazed, to class. She dunnoe what had got into her, she juz passed the letter to him instantly when she saw him. In front of the others too. She slapped her forehead. What on earth had gotten into that stupid brain of hers? Can't she juz be cleverer...
"Kotoko! Kotoko! I heard about it..."a familiar voice gasps, Kotoko turns around.
"Kin-chan..."Kotoko began, "Erm...erm..."
"Kotoko..."grabbed her shoulders tearfully,"y? y did u gif him that letter? the recipient should be me~! ME~!!! not that proud, egoist & ugly Irie Naoki?! Kotoko..."
"I...i..."
"Kotoko...i'm sure it is a mistake rite?a mistake? u actually meant to give the letter to me but u accidentally gif it to that Irie guy...rite? rite?!"Kinnosuke shook her hard...
[End of flashback]
Kotoko sighed inwardly. Definitely not a good memory...she bent her head low,oh boy...didn't she regret making that silly decision of hers?!
