Chatper 7

During the examinations, Konomi try to do her very best in her exam &
her greatest wish is to study in the same University with Yuki. Soon
their examinations are over & the only thing is to wait for their
result,

Papa: Yuki, are you going to study in T-dai University?
Mama: Papa, don't force Yuki to study in T-dai. I don't wish to see
another
      Gege who is having the examination almost every week. Let him
chose
      his own University to study & Yuki has promise you to take over
your
      place & company.
Papa: Alright then! Yuki, I'll not force you but you have to keep your
      promise.
Naoki: Yuki, is Konomi will be studying the same University with you?
Yuki: Yes, she is. (It's because Yuki promise her that they'll go for
same
      University)
Mama: That's great! Kotoko, don't you find that the history is repeat
again
      when Naoki & you went to the same University incident.
Kotoko: You are right, Mama. I realise that my age is catching up &
time
	passes very fast, now I'm a mother soon. How I wish the time
will
        stop at when Naoki propose to me? ( Kotoko and Mama chatting
        excitedly)

Naoki quickly return to his study room as he can't stand the both of
them & Yuki return back to his bedroom as well. Only left Papa alone
accompany Mama & Kotoko. 3 weeks later, Mama receive the result slip
from the school & straight away pass it to Yuki. Yuki quickly open
the letter,

Mama: Yuki, have you pass the examinations? (asked anxiously)
Kotoko: Yuki, tell us what happen? Did you pass your examinations?
Yuki: I've pass & I can study the same Unversity where Gege had study
before.

Mama and Kotoko shouted 'Congratulations Yuki'. Mama ask Kotoko to
call Konomi what is her result outcome & ask her to come over as
tonight they'll have a small celebration.

Kotoko: Konichiwa, is Konomi in?
Konomi: Kotoko sensei!
Kotoko: Konomi, I'm bringing a good news for you. Yuki has pass the
        examinations & how about you? (said excitedly)
Konomi: I pass the exam too.
Kotoko: So are you going to the same University with Yuki?
Konomi: Heh heh... .... yes.
Kotoko: Wow! That's great, Konomi. Oh yes, Mama ask you to come over
for
        celebration tonight.
Konomi: Ok, I'll be there tonight.

Everyone shout 'Congratulations to Yuki & Konomi'. Everybody are
drinking wine except for Kotoko. Kotoko ask can she can drink a bit
of wine.

Naoki: Kotoko, at the moment you can't drink any wine & is bad for
the baby.
Kotoko: But... it's only a little of wine. (said softly)
Naoki: Not a single sip of wine. (He shouted at Kotoko)
Sai:  Kotoko, you are not allow to drink wine at the moment as you are
      pregnant. Be a good girl & listen to Naoki.
Naoki: That's right! Kotoko, you had promise me that you will listen
to me
       & be more mature.
Kotoko: Alright. (She has no choice but to listen to Naoki. Because
she had
        promise Naoki earlier)
Mama: Let's give another toast to Yuki & Konomi again! And hope their
ending
      will be like Gege & Kotoko. (Laugh happily)
Yuki: I'll never ever follow Gege footstep. (He shout at Mama)
Papa: Mama, don't say anymore.
Naoki: I feel pity for Yuki as Mama has the intention to do it that
way.

Chapter 8

In the begining of July, Yuki & Konomi are studying at the same
University. As for Naoki, he recently receive a lot of major
operations & seldom come back home to rest. Papa & Sai, they have to
work & always left Mama & Kotoko at home. Today, they are surprise to
see Naoki back from work,

Mama: Gege, why are you back home so early?
Naoki: I've just finished a major operation since last night & today
is my
       off day. That is why I'm back home early.
Kotoko: Naoki, here is your coffee.
Naoki: Thank you, Kotoko. Does our child always kick you? (He smile
gently
       as he see Kotoko's stomach)
Kotoko: Yes, our child is very active. Here it comes again!

Naoki place his hand on Kotoko's stomach & tell their child not to
kick so often. Kotoko also tell their child to be good After what
they said to their child, it stop kicking.

Naoki: Kotoko, would you like to stay in the hospital as your due
date is
       coming?
Kotoko: Why? Is still early!
Naoki: As I notice that your stomach has grown bigger a bit. Just in
case,
       you give birth earlier.
Mama: That's nothing strange, Gege. Nowadays, Kotoko has a good
appetite.
      Don't worry, Gege. With me around, I'll take good care of
Kotoko.
Naoki: I'm taking a nap first & later on,I'll take you for your last
routine
       check-up.

Later in the afternoon, Naoki accompany Kotoko for the last routine
check-up appointment,

Naoki: Dr Takashi, I find that Kotoko stomach has grown a bit bigger
& does
       she need to admit to hospital in a few days before her due
date?
Dr Takashi: I agree with you, Dr Irie. I would like Mrs Irie to admit
to
	    hospital in a few days earlier before her due date. Her
stomach
            has grown a bit bigger is due to her appetite.
Naoki: Kotoko, do you want to admit in hospital in a few days earlier
before
       your due date?
Dr Takashi: Mrs Irie, you should listen to Dr Irie. He is concern
about you
            & the child.
Kotoko: Alright then, I'll leave it to Naoki to make for the
arrangment.

After a few weeks before her due date, Mama is helping Kotoko to do
packing & make sure that everything is pack. After packing, Mama
drive Kotoko to hospital while Naoki is waiting for them at the
hospital.

Mama: Don't worry, Kotoko. Mama will come & visit you everyday.
Naoki: I'll be always around in the hospital & I've already inform
Tomoko,
       Miki, Marina, Keita & Funetsu that you have admit in hospital
from
       today onward. They will visit you once they've finish their
shift
       work.
Mama: I'll help you to inform Satomi, Zinko, Chris & Kinnosuke as
well. So
      that you will feel comfortable when they are around by your
side.
Naoki: Mama, I'll leave Kotoko to you. Tonight, I won't be able to
have
       dinner at home as I've a long hours of major operation this
       afternoon. Kotoko, I'll visit you once I'm free & take good
care of
       yourself. I've got to go now. (He kiss Kotoko goodbye and left
the
       ward)
Mama: Kotoko, after you got pregnant, I notice Gege has change a lot.
He is
      no longer his old self so cold towards others. He has become
more
      caring, gentle & consideration for others especially towards
you.
Kotoko: I think it must be our unborn child who make him change as a
gentle,
        caring husband & dad.(She smile gently)

Chapter 9

At 3pm, Marina & Keita visit Kotoko after their shift work,

Mama: Kotoko! Marina & Keita are here to visit you.
Kotoko: Hi! Marina & Keita, thank you for visiting me.
Marina: Don't mention, Kotoko. We are free anyway after our shift
duty.
Keita: Do you want to eat some fruits, I'll get it for you?
Kotoko: Thank you, Keita. I've just taken my lunch & my stomach is
full now.
Marina: Auntie, I think you better go back home to rest first & we'll
take
        care of Kotoko.
Kotoko: Yes! Mama. You go back home first as you wake up very early
to help
	me to prepare my stuff since this morning till now. You must
be
        tired.
Mama: Marina and Keita, please help me to take care Kotoko on my
behalf.
      Kotoko, you have to take care of yourself as well & I'll help
you to
      inform your friends that you have already admit in the
hospital. I'll
      come & visit you tomorrow together with Papa, Father Sai, Yuki &
      Konomi. (She left the hospital)
Kotoko: Where are Miki & Tomoko?
Keita: Miki is doing night duty tonight & Tomoko is helping out with
the
       doctors in the Operation & she'll be available till very late.
Marina: Kotoko, I'm very envy you. You have married a handsome, rich
husband
        & also is a doctor. The whole family is so concern about you &
	especially your mother-in-law take good care of you since the
day
	you moved in with them till now. I'm still waiting for my
prince
	charming to appear & hope that his family will be the same as
you.
        (She sign)
Keita: Marina, will you wake up from your idiotic dream! Don't put
too much
       hope on your dream & if you don't heed my advice, you'll
regret.
       (Keita shout at Marina)
Kotoko: Keita, don't be angry. Marina, is there any problem between
you and
        Dr Funetsu?
Marina: No, there's nothing wrong between me & Dr Funetsu. But... ...
Keita: But what! (He has lost his patient)
Kotoko: Marina, tell us what happen. Maybe we can solve the problem
for you.
Marina: Yesterday during lunchtime, Dr Funetsu had propose to me in
the
        canteen & in front of everybody! I feel so embarass.
Kotoko: That's great, Marina! I feel so happy for you. You agree to
marry
        him & what happen after that?
Keita:	Kotoko, you should know that her answer is NO. Dr Funetsu is
not her
        prince charming & not as wealthy as your family who own a big
        company.
Marina: YOU ARE WRONG, KEITA. Actually yesterday during lunchtime, I'm
	shocked to hear Dr Funetsu propose to me in the canteen in
front of
        everybody. I told him to give me 1 day to consider about the
        propose. But in the end, I accept his propose.
Keita: That's surprise! And congratulation to you & hope you will not
change
       your mind last mintue.
Kotoko: I'm sure that Marina will not do that. I can see & feel that
Dr
	Funetsu is truly love Marina with his whole heart. Keita,
what about
        you and Minoko?
Keita: Ummm Heh heh ... ... we are fine.(He smile happily)
Marina: What do you mean? Say it out & just now you have the guts to
tell me
        off & now feel embarass to talk about.(She grin at Keita)
Keita: Marina, that's enough! This is none of your business. (His
face turns
       red & shout at Marina)
In the late evening, Marina & Keita have left after they have a big
quarrel. In Kotoko's heart, she wish Marina & Dr Funetsu have a happy
ending for the rest of their life.

Chapter 10

Kotoko could not sleep in the middle of the night & she decide to
take a rest on the arm chair. Just then Miki is checking the
patient's ward & when he comes to Kotoko's ward, he is surprise to
see Kotoko is still awake & sitting quietly on the arm chair,

Miki: Kotoko, why are you not sleeping?
Kotoko: Oh, it's you Miki. Come in & have a seat.
Miki: You should take an early rest & right now you are pregnant.It
is not
      good for your health & your baby.
Kotoko: I would like to have an early rest but I can't sleep at all.
Miki: Do you have any problem? You looks worried & tell me what's
happen?
Kotoko: Miki, as you know my labour date is the day after tomorrow.
I'm
        scare & afraid that my child is a boy, Mama will be upset.
Miki: Don't worry, everything will be fine. I believe that your
      mother-in-law will understand. She is always take care of you &
dote
      on you very much. After all, that's is her grandchild. (Miki
tried his
      best to calm her down)
Kotoko: That is why I'm worried. I know that she dote & take care of
me very
	well like her own daugther since our house had been destroyed
by the
        earthquake & moved into their house.
Miki: Kotoko, do you notice that your stomach is slightly bigger
recently!
      I believe that you are carrying twins.(He try to cheer her up)
Kotoko: Miki, it's impossible. Dr Takashi did not tell me & Naoki
that I'm
        carrying twins. (She laugh)
Miki: So how do you feel right now?
Kotoko: I'm feeling better right now & thanks for consoling me.
Miki: Alright, Kotoko. It's time for you to go to bed now.
Kotoko: Um.

Miki help her to go to bed & make sure that Kotoko is sound asleep
before he continue his night duty. The next morning, Mama & Sai visit
Kotoko

Kotoko: Good morning, Mama & father. Both of you are very early today.
Mama: We are worry about you. Your father wake up very early in the
morning
      to cook the breakfast for you.
Sai:  Kotoko, how do you feel today?
Kotoko: Father, I'm fine and thanks for prepapre the breakfast for me.
Mama: I've informed your friends last night & they will be visiting
you this
      afternoon.
Sai:  Kotoko, I've got to go now & take care of yourself.
Sister-in-law,
      please help me to take good care of Kotoko.
Mama: I will, don't worry.

After Kotoko had her breakfast, Mama bring Kotoko down to take a
stroll in the garden. Later in the afternoon, Satomi, Zinko & Chris
visit Kotoko,

Satomi: Kotoko, you look fresh today.
Kotoko: Thank you.
Chris: This is the bouquet of flowers Kinnosuke & I buy for you. I
know that
       you like champagne roses.
Zinko: I've bring some magazine for you. If you are bored, you can
read it.
Chris: Do you have any vase in the hospital?
Mama: Chris, let me help you.
Chris: Thank you very much, Auntie.
Zinko: Tomorrow is your due date, don't worry so much.
Kotoko: I'll be fine & thanks for visiting me.
Satomi: Will Naoki be with you when you go to labour operation
theatre?
Kotoko: I think he will. Nowadays, he seems to be very busy recently
with
        the major operations.
Mama: I've buy some fruits for everybody & help yourself.
Chris, Zinko and Chris: I'll will, thank you Auntie.
Mama: Oh yes, Kotoko. Gege ask me to inform you that he will visit
you after
      his work. He will accompany you & stay overnight as well. I've
almost
      forgot that I have some urgent matters to attend & got to go
now. I'll
      ask Yuki & Konomi to bring Gege stuff here this evening. Take
care,
      Kotoko.
Kotoko: Take care & be careful, Mama.

After Mama has left the ward, Chris, Satomi & Zinko accompany Kotoko
till Yuki & Konomi are here to visit Kotoko in the late evening.
