Wow, thanks to you guys for your encouragements. I will try harder to 
make this fanfic more interesting. Hard to believe, but I actually 
finished 2 chapters of my fanfic, well here's chapter 3 and hope you 
guys enjoy it.........

The next day,

"Kotoko-chan, wait a moment.... Bring this lucky amulet with you to 
the doctor's. It will bring you good luck! But remember to open it 
only after getting the results."

Mama stuffed a huge flowery amulet into Kotoko's hands. As Naoki 
comes down the stairs, he shook his head.

"Amulets won't make her pregnant. So don't this kind of silly things 
again. Really, Mama, how many times have I told you this?"

With that, Naoki took the amulet from Kotoko and opened it. To both 
Kotoko and his surprise, it was actually a photo of them in a 
passionate embrace last night.

Opps... thought Mama, as she tried to smile faintly at the fuming 
Naoki.

"We are going out now, be back later."

With that, Naoki left the house with Kotoko for the hospital.......

Meanwhile at home, Mama was very busy.

"Papa, to the right, to the right........ Wait, it's too to the 
right.... shift it back a bit...... 

Yuki, have you finish your job? Why so slow........

Sai, when they come back, they are going to be so touched, right? I 
can't wait to let Kotoko-chan see all this!!"

At the hospital,

"Good afternoon, Mrs Irie, how are you feeling today? Please wait for 
a moment, while I get Nurse Todo to get your report."

Kotoko feels really nervous... Please help me, Okasan..... don't let 
Irie-kun be disappointed again.....

"So, how do you feel about it, Mrs. Irie? Mrs. Irie? Are yu listening 
to me? Mrs. Irie?"

Kotoko turns her head and tried to figure out what the doctor has 
just said.....

"Huh? Sorry what did you say?"

"That you are indeed pregnant...."

Naoki answers for the doctor. He was smiling, though not broadly, but 
it was obvious that he was happy. 

"I am really......."

A overwhelmed Kotoko suddenly jumps up and down, clapping her hands.

"Mrs. Irie, stop it, you are with child!! How can you do such 
vigourous stuff?"

The doctor, the nurse and Naoki looked in horror as they saw Kotoko 
jumping up and down happily. Naoki shook his head, he would have a 
hard time dealing with this Baka.......

Upon hearing what the doctor said, Kotoko stopped immediately.

"Sorry, Irie-kun, but I really am so happy..... We are finally going 
to have a child... our child......"

Hearing what Kotoko has just said, Naoki smiled tenderly at her. Yes, 
they were going to have a child, their child.... after all these 
years.........

"Kotoko, let's go home now. Baka, be more careful......."

With that, they went home hand in hand..... How romantic..... 

Better hold her hand, so that she would not jump up and down again, 
thought Naoki silently as Kotoko smiles at him thinking to herself, 
Irie-kun is so caring today.........

When they opened the door, they were shocked..........
