13:
- Kotoko
returns to school and apparently almost everyone else
she knows is having problems with their relationship,
Satomi and Ryo, Ayako and Takendo.
- Chris makes her appearance and Takendo who just had
a fight with Ayako is smitten. Kotoko introduces
herself to Chris and they decide to be friends.
Takendo tried to be friends with her too but Cris
said he is not her type....Takendo is hurt and runs
crying...;;^^
- Kotoko asks if Takendo is not good looking enough,
Chris told her that can't be helped cause her
standard too high. She tells Kotoko that she has been
everywhere looking for the perfect guy and hopes to
find him in Japan. While Chris is talking about her
ideal man, Kotoko thinks of Naoki.
- In class, Kotoko invites Chris to go to her father's
restaurant for dinner and she tells her that she
wants to invite one other person and Chris asked if
it's her friend, she tells him that it's her husband.
Chris is surprised with the news and said that since
Kotoko has already found her dream man, she must be
happy and asks what type of person is Naoki.
- As Kotoko starts describing Naoki, she sees him and
intruduces Chris to him. As Kotoko introduces Naoki
to Chris, Chris has a surprised look and said, "Naoki..."
Then she snaps out of it and introduces herself.
Naoki and Chris began to speak in English and then
they began to speak to each other. Kotoko begins to
feel insecure because she saw Chris' expression just
now.
- Naoki went to change and Chris turns to speak to
Kotoko. She began to say, "Kotoko's Naoki...."
and Kotoko asks what. Chris replies nothing. Kotoko
begins to suspect that Naoki might be Chris' dream
man.
- At the restaurant, as they were eating Kinnosuke
came along. He is very happy to see Kotoko but is
upset to see Naoki...;;^^ He then rambles on to
Kotoko. Then he notices Chris. Chris looked shocked
and doesn't speak at all when introduced to him. He
guesses that it must be because she couldn't speak
Japanese. Kotoko continues to introduce Kinnosuke to
Chris, ie telling her that he is a chef etc...
- Chris, who has been very quiet suddenly says,
"Kotoko, I want to be frank with you. I've found
the man I love."
- Kotoko is shocked while Chris continues on by
saying that it's the first time she has felt this way.
She then says that Kotoko might not be happy with her
choice but she she has to say it. The one I like.....
- Before Chris finished saying anything Kotoko hugged
Naoki and shouts, "NO! NO! No matter how much
you like Naoki, I cannot give him to you! NO!"
- As it turns out, instead of going to Naoki, Chris
grabbed Kinnosuke's lapels.....and everyone was
shocked.....
- Kotoko is embarrassed cause she thought the one
that Chris likes is Naoki. Chris tells Kotoko that
she has fallen in love at first sight with Kinnosuke.
- Kinnosuke however does not feel the same way. He
tells Chris that he is only in love with Kotoko and
when she says Kotoko is already married, he said don't
worry they'll divorce. ;;^^ Chris continues on
expressing her feeling for him and he tells her that
he is not interested in western girls etc. Sai-chan (Kotoko's
father) tells him not to speak like that to customers
so that night, Kinnosuke served them and Chris is
very happy.
- The next day Kotoko asks Chris what is attractive
about Kinnosuke, Chris replies that he is like a
prince....Kotoko almost laughed imagining Kinnosuke
as a prince. Chris then confides that she has a
fiance in England named Rokuni (I'm thinking it could
be Ronnie??? but after checking the name dictionary
this is what came up...;;^^) and that he was picked
by her father. She also tells Kotoko that her fiance
is very strange looking and and she hates him. Kotoko
imagines him to be a very ugly guy.
- During lunch time, Chris looks for Kinnosuke,
annoying him. Er...she also proclaimed her love to
everyone in the cafeteria. Kinnosuke is not happy but
some of the other students tells him that this is his
first and last chance that someone would do something
like this to him. ^_-
- Kinnosuke tells Chris that he wants a girl who can
be the perfect Japanese wife ie. one that knows how
to do floral arrangement, tea ceremony etc...Even
Kotoko can't do that....;;^^ Chris decides to train
to be the perfect Japanese wife so that she can be
together with Kinnosuke.
- Guess who's to become Chris trainer? Mama!!! ^____^
- Kotoko also ended up training as Naoki remarks that
it'll be nice to have a his wife do floral
arrangement and tea ceremony. He remarks that then
his wife will be the perfect woman....
- The training was full of mishaps though Kotoko
outshines Chris in one area...^_^ She knows how to
balance the books on her head very well.....
- Chris of course, still looks for Kinnosuke....the
aunt at the cafeteria teases Kinnosuke.
- Chris finally completes her training, and dressed
in a kimono goes to look For Kinnosuke. He was
shocked and blushes when he saw her. ^_^ But instead
of prasing her he tells her that she still doesn't
look like the perfect Japanese wife. He tells her
that just because she wears a kimono, she still doesn't
look like a Japanese girl.
- Chris is hurt and leaves....though Kinnosuke feels
bad about it....then Kotoko hits him and reprimand
him. Suddenly Kinnosuke ran.....
- Meanwhile, Chris' fiance arrived and found her. He
wants to take her back to England and tries to kiss
her. He is stopped by Kinnosuke. Kotoko who saw the
commotion is surprised......Rokuni is in fact very
handsome.....think of Naoki-look-alike with blond
hair.........
- Rokuni and Kinnosuke argues and then suddenly,
Chris kissed Kinnosuke on the lips....She then tells
Rokuni that the one she likes is Kinnosuke. Rokuni
angry and insulted left.
- Chris turns to Kinnosuke and thanks him and hugged
him....but Kinnosuke was too shocked about the kiss.....he
is frozen and is red in colour....;;^^ Suddenly, he
fainted.....
- Kotoko and Chris are in the school clinic watching
over the sleeping Kinnosuke. Chris remarks that
Kinnosuke when asleep is also very cute......Kotoko
is shocked...more or less doesn't know what to say.....;;^^
- Kotoko remaks that Rokuni is also pitiful....but
Chris says no, that Rokuni deserve it...Kotoko then
mentions that she is shocked when she saw Rokuni
cause he.....Chris then says look like your Naoki
right? Kotoko says that's right and that they are
very handsome she also says that when Chris said that
Rokuni looks weird, she has to be joking. Chris then
says that she can't say anything about Naoki but.....Kotoko's
taste in men is VERY BAD......o_O
- That day they quarrelled for an hour arguing whose
taste is bad......
- The
school festival is here again.
- Sudou, who works as a car salesman tells the tennis
club people that there'll be competition and the
winner will get a car. Kotoko wants to compete and
her partner will be Naoki but Sudou says that the
team must be formed by someone from the club and the
other person must not be someone from the club. He
then tells Naoki that he has to be the referee for
that day.
- Kotoko trains hard at home. Mama is confused cause
they already ahve a BMW at home...;;^^ Kotoko tells
her it's because she has this dream of driving with
Naoki and then going to places for romantic purposes..:)
-Naoki asks Kotoko if she does win, who will drive
the car and Kotoko tells him that she will go and get
her license. Naoki tells her to give up etc...Kotoko
is annoyed.
- The school festival finally starts and Kotoko is
excited cause this will be her last school festival.
Kotorin the anime of course made her feature again
via the manga club....^_^ Despite what Naoki said
before, Kotoko is still going into the competition.
- Konomi is also there with Yuki....though Yuki doesn't
look very happy. ^_^ Kotoko is very happy to see her
and slyly asked her if she's on a date with Yuki.
Yuki denies this. Konomi explained that she heard
about the festival from Yuki and asked him to take
her. Yuki says that he can't stand Konomi as she is
like someone he knows.....ie. Kotoko...
- The competition is begining when Kotoko sees Sudou
in his sporting gear......as it turns out he is
joining the competition too!!!
- When picking names for partners, he surprisingly
picked Reiko's name...-_-
- Kotoko is thinking that she doesn't have a chance
when suddenly Chris came with Kinnosuke. Kinnosuke
complained about Chris to Kotoko but Kotoko says that
she can't see the fact that Kinnosuke was bothered by
the fact...^_^
- Chris decides to join and her partner is Kotoko
based on the name she picked from the box. Kotoko is
apprehensive about it but Chris assures that it'll be
ok...
- Sudou and Reiko manage to win their first match.
When it came to Kotoko's turn to play her first match,
her opponent is very glad that it's Kotoko and thinks
that there's a possiblity that they'll win the car....As
it turns out, Chris is a very good player and Kotoko
team won...:)
- Kinnosuke shouts out, "Kotoko, Ganbatte!!!"
Chris is very angry and asked, how about her but
Kinnosuke says that Chris don't need it....;;^^
- Kotoko found out from her friend that Ayako has
already lost cause her partner is not very good...:)
- Kotoko and Chris made it to the final round and
they have to beat Sudou and Reiko to win the car.
Sudou and Reiko only hit the ball to Chris thus Chris
became exhausted and she fell down. Kinnosuke
suddenly says that if she is a real Japanese woman
she'll show it to him. :) Encouraged, she got up and
continue to play. Kotoko then decides to make an
effort too. Surprisingly, Kotoko managed to block out
the crucial balls and one hit Sudou and he couldn't
block that one hit. The score stands at 40-40. :) But
because Sudou err....injured his back while trying to
hit Kotoko's tennis ball, his team lost. He cursed
all the way when he was carried to the ambulance...^_^
- Kotoko decides to give the car to Chris since she
feels that the reason why they won was due to Chris.
Chris agrees and will give the car back to Kotoko
when she returns to England. :) Naoki then tells
Chris not too worry cause Kotoko won't be able to get
her license so Chris can keep the car...;;^^
- That night as the festival closes with a concert,
Kotoko tells Naoki as long as she managed to spend
her last school festival with him she is content....Naoki
then remarks is she sure that it'll be her last? ;;^^
- Kotoko
is not feeling well cause she she ate too much...;;^^
Satomi gave her some medicine and then they talked
about their job and future. Kotoko reveals that she
wants to be a nurse. But her freinds are not
suportive about her plans...;;^^
- That night Naoki tells Kotoko that he'll be away
for 3 days as he will be joining the professor for
some sort of convention. As they were talking, Kotoko
feels sick again. Naoki decides to check if she is
sick and feels her forehead and checks her throat etc...then
he says he wants to check her stomach and Kotoko is
shocked and said that Naoki is very perverted. ;;^^
Naoki is annoyed cause Kotoko thinks about such
things..;;^^ He tells her that she looks fine but
tells her if by tomorrow she is not feeling better
she should see the doctor. He also mentions how
anyone can eat 8 eggs at one time..;;^^
- Zinko and Satomi visits Kotoko at home. They
brought fruits and Kotoko asks if they brought any
sour fruits ( I don't know how to explain this sour
fruits bit...). Mama who heard this dropped the tea
she was bringing in for the three of them. Mama then
grabs Kotoko and asks if Kotoko has been vormiting,
feels like eating sour fruits and asks if her period
has come. Kotoko reveals that it has been late....Mama
then tells Kotoko that she is pregnant.
- Zinko, Satomi and Mama are very excited while
Kotoko is shocked but happy...
- Papa and Sai also found out at night and they too
are very happy. :) Mama tells Kotoko not to tell
Naoki until he is back so he'll be surprised...though
she tries to think of ways to make him come back
earlier...;;^^
-That night Kotoko wonders about Naoki's reaction.
- The next day, everyone in school knows about Kotoko's
condition and the whole school was very excited...:)
Of course some people are not happy...Like Kinnosuke...he
is very distressed...;;^^ But he is in dilemma cause
he can't hate the child as technically the child is 1/2
Kotoko's...;;^^
- That night when Kotoko comes home Mama shows her
all the baby girls clothes she bought. Then Papa
comes and shows her all the toys he brought home,
Mama is angry cause the toys are all boys toys..;;^^
The Sai comes in with the food he has prepared for
Kotoko...:)
- Kotoko is touched and thinks what her and Naoki's
child would be like...:)
- Naoki comes back after 3 days and everyone in the
university kept looking at him and whispering. Then
he meets Takendo who tells him to quickly go home.
Then he meets Kinnosuke who hid behind a tree and
called him "shameless..."...;;^^
- When he came home, he saw a notice posted at the
front door telling him to knock 2 times first before
entering the house.
- He came into confetti and congratulations...;;^^
Yuki asked him if he heard and Naoki tells him no and
asks what's going on. Mama pushes Kotoko to tell
Naoki. Kotoko is scared and tells him softly that she
is pregnant. Naoki is shocked and asked her what did
the doctor say. She told him that she hasn't been to
the doctor yet but Mama is the one who told her.
- Mama is so sure that she even has all the toys and
all names ready for the baby...Naoki decides to take
Kotoko to the doctor to be sure.
- While at the doctor's office, Naoki is the only
male and Kotoko asks if that's okay with him and he
tells her it's okay cause he is going to be a doctor
anyway. Kotoko then asks Naoki what if there's a real
baby. But before he could answer her, Kotoko is
called into the doctor's office.
- It was a mistake cause her period also came...;;^^
Naoki doesn't blame Kotoko though and tells her it's
all Mama's fault...
- When they come home, Mama is very excited and
started asking questions like how many months more
etc...she was devastated when it was a just a mistake..Sai
and Papa too...Yuki waste no time in taking off the
possible names posters down..:)
- That night Kotoko and Naoki were at the balcony
talking....:) Naoki tells Kotoko that when he learnt
that she was pregnant, he was very shocked but on the
way to the doctor etc, he feels that given time, he
can be a father...:) he tells her that the feeling
was great...I mean the feeling of being a father....
- Naoki kisses her. Kotoko tells Naoki that she also
wants to have a baby, Naoki tells her to let's make
one....^_^ As Kotoko slept that night, she thinks
that she was very happy when she thought she was
pregnant with Naoki's child. But she said now she
will not think beyond tomorrow cause one day she will
definitely have his child. :)
- It's
the new year. Kotoko is unhappy because Naoki's new
year cards are mostly from girls....Naoki teases her
about not getting any cards and she tells him that
she has...and he says it's only from Kinnosuke and
Takendo only....
- Mama tells them not to fight and as the family eat
together and makes their wishes for each other., Mama
tells Yuki to study hard and go on dates with Konomi
and Yuki says who wants to go out with her but Mama
says that she heard his plans with her already. Yuki
is shocked..;;^^
- Mama wishes for a grandchild from Kotoko and Naoki.
:) Kotoko tells him that she'll bother him again and
he says she'd better not bother him..;;^^ (Not a very
good translation here...)
- Kotoko halped to cook the new year dinner...of
course...it's as usual is not nice to eat...Naoki
tells her this year she should learn properly but of
course he doesn't have any high hopes...Kotoko then
says since she is graduating this year, she will then
be able to to become a full time house wife...then
Naoki asks are you sure you'll be graduating? ;;^^
- Kotoko finds out that she didn't get enough credit
points thus she will not be graduating (I don't know
if most ppl who hasn't been to uni yet know this but
in uni, each year you have to have a minimum credit
points which is achieved by doing the subjects. Each
subject is worth different points.). She cries to
Naoki but Naoki instead of comforting her tells her
practically to study again for another year.
- Kotoko doesn't want to as she feels that no matter
how hard she tries, she would only be good as a
housewife but Naoki is angry hearing this. He tells
her that it is her own fault...while eveyone is busy
looking for jobs, she didn't do anything and she goes
to school but didn't get her points right.
- Kotoko is hurt and shouts that Naoki doesn't
understand her etc.. Naoki shouts back that he doesn't
understand other than her persistence (???), what
other strength does she have? He then says that she
this type of person doesn't have any ability (???).
Kotoko is further hurt to hear him say that.
- Mama is angry to hear Naoki say that while Yuki is
shocked...they've been watching the fight...;;^^
- Kotoko is so angry that she says she is going home
to her parents' house and Naoki asks where is her
parents' house. ;;^^ She said she doesn't care, she
just needs to go somewhere else and she says maybe
she'll go to some other guy's house. Naoki then says,
"Oh? You have that choice? Kinnosuke's or
Takendo's?"
- Kotoko is so angry that she says she is going to
look for someone who is not like Naoki and when he
regrets it, it will be too late. She tells him now is
the time if not she doesn't care anymore...Naoki
response? "Go ahead."
- That night Kotoko leaves the Irie and Aihara
household and Naoki didn't stop her despite her
wishing that he did....
- She went to Satomi's place but she ends up leaving
again because Satomi and Ryo had something planned.
She went to Zinko's place and spent the night there...she
also found out that Zinko is going to graduate...
- The next day, Kotoko goes to school looking
horrible...her friends tells her to give in to Naoki
but she refused to.
She sneaked up to see how Naoki is handling her
leaving, he handled it very well....he is laughing
and joking with his friends. Kotoko is angry.
- Kinnosuke is happy to hear the news and invites
Kotoko to stay at his place but Chris is angry with
Kinnosuke and says that he has her already but
Kinnosuke insults her again..;;^^
- Kotoko also found out that the whole school knows
about her not graduating.
- At the Irie/Aihara household, Mama is scolding
Naoki for being so callous. She tells him to find
Kotoko but he says that don't bother about her cause
she'll come back. Sai is resigned and tells Mama that
this problem is between Naoki and Kotoko.
- Yuki uses the excuse of taking Chibi for a walk to
keep watch on Kotoko. While Naoki, though he seemed
distant, he himself, I think regrets it.
- Kotoko at Zinko's place is sad and dibelieving that
Naoki didn't pick her up after 3 days. She decides to
leave as she feel that she is imposing on Zinko too
much.
- Yuki caught her leaving the Zinko's house, she
tells them that she is going home but as Yuki
followed her he realised that she is not going home
after all...
- As he follows her, he saw a guy picking Kotoko up.
He is surprised as he can't believe that anyone else
will be interested in her. He then thinks, even so,
he don't think that Kotoko will go with guy as for 7
years, she only loves 1 person. To his surpise she
got into the guy's car....
SIDE
STORY:
- Naoki is 3 year old and Mama dressed him up as a
girl. Papa is distressed but Mama rationalised her
behaviour by comparing it to manga characters that
cross-dresses. When Mama asks Naoki if he/she (^_-)
likes skirts, he/she replies, "I like!" ^_^
- 1st day of school, everyone esp. the boys likes
Naoki a lot. :) He of course excels in everything and
boys fight over him all the time.
- Swimming lesson. The girls asks Naoki what his
swimming costume look like and he replies, " It's
pink with fishes." ;;^^ He is actually very
friendly to them, in fact he loves playing with all
his friends.
- As they went to change.....suddenly all the girls
run out screaming....they say that Naoki-chan has a
um...;;^^ (Can't say that word here...)
- Naoki is shocked and the other students started
saying things like he's a cross-dresser, I don't want
to be friends with a cross-dresser and I don't want
to marry a crossdresser and they also call him a liar....
- The next day, he came as a boy. The other students
are shocked but the girls like it very much...:) But
that day, his attitude also changed. He is no longer
friendly and tells the other students that he doesn't
like people with no brains....
- Since that day Naoki believes that he can't trust
anyone else except himself so he is always alone
walking towards his life and the one type of person
he hates in the world is one who believes in love too
much. He sort of says that love makes someone stupid.
But he said that the fact that he himself actually
has a relationship with someone like that is
something he never expected.
- A scene of Kotoko looking at Naoki the very first
time (which is when he gave a speech in his first
high school year) and also when he noticed her the
first time...he thinks to himself "Like a stupid
girl!" cause Kotoko has hearts in her eyes...

My comments about side story: I think though funny it
is somehow kind of sad...I mean for Naoki to actually
feel that way before Kotoko came into his life....
