Volume
15:
Kotoko is
trying to cope with nursing school. They have to
learn how to draw blood and each person is to have a
partner from their own group. No one wanted to
partner Kotoko cause they are afraid so they picked
lots and Keita has to partner up with Kotoko.
Unfortunately after Kotoko managed to draw his blood
she dropped the test tube so they have re-do
everything again....;;^^
Naoki
comes in to their class and Keita scolds him and
tells him to teach his wife properly etc, but Naoki
replied that he didn't become a doctor cause of
Kotoko and that if Kotoko doesn't become a nurse it's
none of his business. Keita is angry. Keita scolds
Kotoko for marrying someone like that etc, but Kotoko
defends Naoki.
Tomoko
helps Keita to draw his blood and Kotoko suspects
that there's something going on between them.
That
night Kotoko starts to doubt herself if she can
become a nurse. Mama sneakily tells her to have a
baby instead. Naoki comes home and tells Mama that he's
going out for a drink tomorrow so they need not cook
his share. Kotoko starts asking him what time and
where he's going to ahve a drink. Naoki is annoyed.
As it
turned out, Kotoko brought her friends to the place
where Naoki is having the drink with his friends.
There, Rinari and Funetsu starts talking (though
Rinari doesn't like him...;;^^) while Naoki is
surrounded by girls. Kotoko jealous, got drunk.
Kotoko was sitting beside Keita and starts scolding
Keita and Keita generally ignores her while throwing
snide remarks. Then she fell asleep and Keita looks
at her. His feature seems to softens......
When
Marina remarks about Kotoko being asleep etc, Keita
tells her that he'll bring her home and she asks what
for since Naoki is here but Keita dismisses Naoki's
presence.
Naoki
comes in to take Kotoko home but Keita tells him that
he'll take her home instead and Naoki asks who he is.
Keita introduces himself and tells Naoki Kotoko is
always giving him problems. He then tells Naoki to go
back to the other girls and Keita will take Kotoko
home. He also mentioned that Naoki doesn't seem to
care for Kotoko. Naoki tells him off by saying that
whether or not he cares for Kotoko is his family's
business.
Kotoko
wakes up and Naoki takes her home but as they leave,
Naoki tells Keita to stop refering to Kotoko as
"that person" or "this person".....
Koko/Miki then asks Keita why he picked a fight with
Naoki and Keita just replied that he doesn't like
Naoki.....Throughout all these, Kotoko was not aware
of what's happening....

Kotoko is
studying and she mentioned that she'll be scolded by
Keita if she doesn't remember anything. Naoki hearing
this seems troubled and asks about him. Kotoko tells
him that Keita is very fierce etc and mentions that
despite him being hot tempered there's someone who
likes him and she says that this girl is cute etc and
says that the girl won't confess to him since she is
quiet and she resolves to bring them together. Naoki
tries to tell Kotoko something about Keita but
changes his mind...
Another
training in nursing school and this time Koko/Miki is
Kotoko's victim....;;^^ But again Kotoko notices that
there may be something between Tomoko and Keita....
Keita scolds her again and the teacher reveals that
the week after they have to attend an operation (I
assumed using dead bodies....I mean in medical school
I think that's what they do....).
Kotoko
tries to play matchmaker between Keita and Tomoko but
Keita scolds her....;;^^
Funetsu
comes to look for Marina and asks her for a date but
she turns him down by saying that he and her doesn't
match. He asks her why. She asks him what his
interest are and he says he is VERY interested in her...;;^^
and she agreed to date him on the condition that he
beats Naoki and be no. 1. He agrees and resolves to
do that....
That
night, Kotoko tells Naoki about that incident. She
also tells him about the operation and Naoki in a
matter of fact way just tells her that it's his job
and that Kotoko should be prepared and that she
should work hard.
On that
day, the nursing students found out that all they
have to do is stand behind the doctors doing the
operation. Everyone is glad except Tomoko. As it
turns out she likes cutting things up...;;^^ she even
has her own surgical knife....;;^^
They
found out that Naoki is one of the students doing the
operation. After he is done cutting up the body, the
nursing students where told to touch it. Everyone was
scared esp. Kotoko. Tomoko has no problem at all....;;^^
Kotoko
suddenly faints and Keita worried quickly carries her
to the clinic. There's no one there so he took care
of her. Then as he looks at her, he slowly leaned
down when Naoki suddenly says, "what's next?"
(or what are you thinking of doing next?)
Keita
says nothing and that he's not thinking of anything
like that esp towards this type of person (ie Kotoko).
Naoki then says it doesn't look that way to him. He
also mentioned that he heard Kotoko fainted and that
Keita took her to the clinic and he says that it must
have bothered Keita a lot to have to do such thing
for "this type of person". Naoki then tells
him that he will take care of Kotoko now and that
Keita should go back to class.
As Keita
is leaving, Naoki reminds Keita that Kotoko is
married to him and tells him that Keita shouldn't
touch Kotoko...or rather shouldn't have feelings for
Kotoko. Keita says he undestand but he says that
compared to Naoki, he cares more about Kotoko than
Naoki. Naoki's reply was, "oh, is it? good then...."
As this is going on, again, Kotoko didn't realise
what was going on.....

Kotoko is
telling Zinko and Satomi about how she woke up to
find a concerned Naoki etc. Then she salso tells them
about Keita and Zinko and Satomi mentioned that Keita
probably likes Kotoko but Kotoko laughs it off....
That
night Mama mentioned that the whole family should go
on a trip (to countryside) cause Papa bought a house
there etc. Kotoko has homework thought so she cannot
go but Mama told her to bring her friends along so
they can do it there. When Mama asks Naoki what he
thinks about that idea, he just said he has no
opinion. Kotoko notices that Naoki doesn't look happy
and wonders if she should invite the others....
When
Kotoko tells the others all of them are happy and
willing to go except for Keita but he changes his
mind in the end.
On the
day the Irie family and the Aihara family arrives at
the house, Kotoko's friends also arrived despite the
fact that they were to arrive the day after.
Yuki
meets Tomoko who helped him with a bee sting and his
face was red. Then Koko/Miki approaches him and found
out that Koko/Miki is a transverstite and he was
horrified and Naoki tells him off for not having
manners. Naoki welcomes the guests but when it came
to Keita there was tension between them....
That
night as Kotoko talks with Naoki about the day, he
seems really cold and Kotoko wonders about this....meanwhile,
Koko/Miki and Rinari are trying to listen in on what's
going on in Naoki's and Kotoko's room....;;^^
Kotoko
wakes up late the next morning and only Mama and Koko/Miki
are left in the house. The others have gone to do
something...
Kotoko
went to the forest alone and after a while she was
joined by Keita whom she thought is Naoki at first.
They talked and Kotoko mentions that Naoki has been
very cold to her....so Keita tries to comfort her by
showing her this trick of kicking a tree and some
sort of beetles starts falling. When Kotoko tries, no
beetles fell cause she can't kick properly. As they
were enjoying themselves, Naoki saw them and he doesn't
look happy.....
That
night, Yuki is dressing up for dinner to impress
Tomoko. Koko/Miki and Kotoko teases him and he starts
comparing them to Tomoko. He was really in love with
Tomoko until he saw her cutting the fish that Papa
and Sai caught....despite being splattered by blood
she looks so happy.....;;^^
That
night during dinner time, Naoki seems to ignore
Kotoko and seems to only pay attention to Marina.
Kotoko is also upset that she didn't even get to
spend time with Naoki. So she asks him to stay one
more day with her while the family goes back tomorrow
but Naoki tells her that he can't. Kotoko is
disappointed.
Keita
suddenly tells Naoki to stay with Kotoko and that
things that he needs to take care of tomorrow can be
taken care through the phone. He also reprimands
Naoki for not caring about Kotoko etc. Naoki then
tells him to mind his own business. Kotoko scolds
Naoki for being mean to Keita as Keita is only trying
help her.
Naoki
then smiles (meanly) and says that Kotoko should stay
with Keita instead as he cares for her more and be
happy catching beetles etc.. Kotoko is angry and
tells Naoki that Naoki is an idiot and runs off into
the forrest.
Mama
scold Naoki. Keita asks if Naoki is going after her,
Mama says of course but Naoki didn't move. Keita then
says if Naoki is not going after Kotoko, then he is....he
then runs after after Kotoko. Mama scolds Naoki and
warns him that if Noaki is not going to do anything,
Kotoko might be stolen from him. Naoki just kept
quiet........
In the
forrest as Kotoko apologises to Keita for bringing
him into the argument, Keita hugs her from behind and
tells her to forget Naoki.....
Meanwhile,
Naoki kept thinking about what Mama said....that
Kotoko might be stolen away from him.........
======================
The
family is back in their house and they try to make
Kotoko and Naoki talk to each other but their
relationship is still pretty bad....Mama blames Keita
and resolves to fix this problem....
Kotoko is
thinking about the time when Keita hugs her...that
time she just laughs him off and then they went back
to the house.... but as they walk back to the house,
Kotoko's face is red as she said even if it was a
joke, no one has ever hugged her other than Naoki.....
She also tries to make up with Naoki but Naoki kept
avoiding her...
Kotoko
goes back to school and as usual Keita is very fierce
to her to she assumes that that nigth Keita is really
joking and she is relieved....
Meanwhile,
Funetsu kept Marina up to date with his attempt to
beat Naoki...
Kotoko
studies hard for the exams hoping that it will help
her make up with Naoki...
On the
day of the exams, Naoki is still avoiding Kotoko...
Mama is sad to see this...
After the
exams, Funetsu again looks for Marina and they
happened to see Naoki. Funetsu asks him how did he
find the exams, he said that he couldn't do it....it
means Funetsu beats Naoki! That means Marina has to
go on a date with Funetsu! Marina is horrified...
Kotoko
touches Naoki's forehead and asks him if he's alright...
He removes her hand and tells her that he's okay and
walks away...
Koko/Miki
seeing this mentions that she has no competition
anymore since Marina now has Funetsu, Kotoko tells
her/him that's not like that.... Keita asks her if it's
been like this since then and Kotoko says yes....he
then remarks that it has been a month now.... He asks
if he is the reason and she says no and she also says
that night that Keita is also only joking...
Keita
tells her it's not a joke. What he told her that
night is the truth. He then walks away....Kotoko is
shocked....
Koko/Miki
who saw this talks with Keita. She tells him that he
cannot like Kotoko cause Kotoko is someone else's
wife. But Keita answered that Kotoko cannot go on
like this or she won't be happy if she continues to
stay with someone who is so cold....
Meanwhile,
Funetsu went to look for the professor to find out
about his results and to his shock and Marina's glee
he is 2nd again.....he still couldn't beat Naoki
despite the fact that Naoki not doing well......
Funetsu is so upset he starts banging his head
against the wall. Marina touched by his efforts (not
the effort of banging his head..;;^^) agrees to go on
one date with him...and only one....
Mama goes
to the uni incognito, from the other students she
found out that Keita is very well-liked and good
person. She then almost fainted cause it was too hot
to be dressed liek she is....Keita helped her and he
also knows that it's Mama, as Mama talks to him, she
realises that Keita is a very good person....and she
is sad....cause she thinks Kotoko will eventually
leave Naoki for Keita....
Naoki
goes to the cafeteria to see Kinnosuke. He talks
about Keita and how he couldn't believe that he
actually said a mean thing to Kotoko etc... He
mentioned that he doesn't know why he's feeling like
this...
Kinnosuke
then laughs and calls him an idiot....he reveals that
what Naoki is feeling is called jealousy.... Naoki is
startled by this.....
