Volume
16:
Kotoko's
and Naoki's relationship has not improved. Kotoko
found out that Satomi is pregnant and is getting
married. She tells Mama about the news and she also
remembers that she is married to Naoki for 2 years
now... She then goes to tell Naoki that Mama wants to
have a party etc...
However,
Naoki's response was disappointing. He said no need
to and then asks if she is done, Kotoko disappointed
replied that Naoki is right, after all there's
nothing to be happy about. She then apologise for
disturbing him and started to leave the room. She
then stopped and Naoki looked at her and says, "Kotoko..."
Suddenly
she turns around and with tears in her eyes started
throwing books at Naoki. Naoki tried to calm her down.
As Naoki held her hands, Kotoko shouts that she had
had enough and that she had enough of Naoki not
looking at her. She tells him that whatever she did
things still remained the same etc.. then she went on
to say that Keita told her that he likes her and
Keita told her that Naoki don't love her (Naoki
looked shocked here). She then shouts that Naoki
doesn't love her. To calm her down, Naoki slapped her.
Kotoko
calmer now, says that Naoki doesn't love her anymore,
then she says no...Naoki has never loved her to begin
with...she then asks why he married her..she then
tells him that only she loving him, she can't take it
anymore. She then runs out the room and out of the
house...leaving Naoki in shock....
Kotoko
goes to her father's restaurant. Shigeo (Kotoko's
father) called Naoki up behind her back to let him
know that she is alright. Kotoko that night stayed
with Chris. Kotoko and Chris got drunk and Kinnosuke
took care of both of them.
The next
morning, Kotoko got a hung over. Keita gave her some
medicine. Keita knowing that Kotoko quarrelled with
Naoki asks Kotoko is she wants to stay with him (Keita).
Everyone is shocked. Keita then professes his love
for Kotoko again.
Kinnosuke
is also shocked and annoyed. They are in the canteen
at the moment. Kotoko tries to explain to him about
her and Naoki etc but Keita interupts her and tells
her that's why he told her to divorce Naoki. He asks
if Naoki cares about the fact that Keita likes Kotoko
too. He then asks what has Naoki done for Kotoko. He
then went on to say being husband and wife is needing
one another. Keita then says that Kotoko needs him (Keita).
Naoki
suddenly bursts in saying that is not true. Keita is
angry and tells Naoki that Naoki has lost his chance
to speak cause it's too late (???). Keita then tells
him that Naoki can't give Kotoko happiness and that
Naoki doesn't know how to be married. Naoki replied
maybe what Keita said is true and Keita said it's not
maybe and that he is right.
Naoki
calmly explained that before he used to be unable to
express his feelings etc until Kotoko came into his
life. He begins to feel worried and lost etc... Keita
asked so what. Naoki replied by insulting Keita
saying he is fierce etc...
Naoki
then went on to say cause of this, Keita don't need
Kotoko. But Naoki does. Naoki says that with Kotoko
by his side he can be himself. He then tells Kotoko
that he doesn't understand this until he spoke with
Kinnosuke.
Kotoko
asks Naoki if she can stay by his side and Naoki says
yes. Kotoko then runs crying to Naoki and says that
she won't leave Naoki ever again. Everyone in the
canteen cheered.....^_^
Meanwhile,
Keita was outside looking a bit sad when Koko/Miki
approached him. Koko/Miki told Keita that what Keita
felt for Kotoko was not love so told him to give up.
(Here she/he is trying to cheer Keita up by saying
that....)
The
family is happy too that Kotoko and Naoki made up......^_^

Mama is
planning Naoki's and Kotoko's 2nd wedding anniversary.
She's of course making real big plans and she warns
tha family to keep the whole thing from Naoki and
Kotoko.
Naoki is
beginning to "regret" professing his love
from Kotoko from the whole school....cause Kotoko
sticks to him in school...;;^^
Satomi,
is not having an easy time being pregnant since she
has terrible morning sickness. She asks Kotoko to go
with her to see Ryo's mother. Although reluctant at
first, Kotoko managed to become very enthusiastic
about it after Satomi tells her the reasons why she
asks Kotoko....:) When Kotoko tells Mama and Naoki
about this, Mama too becomes very enthusiastic about
the whole thing and tries to help while Naoki looked
doubtful.....
During
the meeting with Ryo's mother and Satomi and Kotoko,
Ryo's mother made snide comments and she's not very
nice to Satomi. While at first both Satomi and Kotoko
swallows the whole thing, Kotoko eventually got
really angry and scolds Ryo's mother. Ryo's mother,
in anger, left. Satomi looked ill.....
When Ryo
found out about the whole thing, Kotoko tells him
that she'll look for his mother to apologise etc. Ryo
however tells her no need etc. Satomi then tells him
that she would have said the same things to Ryo's
mother and this sparked an argument between Ryo and
Satomi. Things eventually escalated to a point where
Satomi and Ryo breaks up......
That
night Kotoko told Naoki about the matter. Naoki sort
of tells her "I told you so" etc...in the
end he said maybe it's better for Ryo and Satomi to
break up now than break up later...sort of to spare
the hurts...Kotoko disagrees. Naoki leaves her alone
while Mama continues with her plans for the upcoming
party.....
Kotoko
tries to smooth things between Ryo and Satomi to no
avail....:P
Finally
it's the anniversary day. However Satomi and Ryo
still haven't made up. Kotoko wonders why Mama tells
her to go home at 5 pm...as she was walking/running
she sees Satomi at the top of the roof... She runs
there to stop Satomi from jumping. As it turns out,
Satomi had no intention of jumping at all. However,
she broke down and cried telling Kotoko that she
can't survive without Ryo....
Suddenly
she is gripped by pain in her stomach. Kotoko scared
starts shouting out for Naoki for help....Naoki is
annoyed with Kotoko's method...;;^^
Naoki and
Kotoko takes Satomi to the hospital. Ryo rushes to
the hospital after being informed about the matter by
Kotoko. Naoki tells him to have mental preparation
that he and Satomi could lose the baby. Ryo tells
Naoki and Kotoko about how he felt when he first
found out the baby etc. He concludes that Satomi and
the baby are very important to him and begs Naoki to
save them but Naoki said he's not a doctor yet, he
also tells Ryo that it's normal to be scared to be a
father (or something like that...he more or less said
everyone is afraid of the prospect of being a father..)
Satomi is
alright and the baby is fine too. Ryo apologises to
Satomi...Kotoko remarks that it's the baby....the
baby wants Satomi and Ryo to make up...While Satomi
and Ryo made up Kotoko remarks that they are dressed
up like in the movies. They then told Naoki and
Kotoko about Mama's big plan. Naoki and Kotoko are
shocked....;;^^
Mama is
annoyed cause Kotoko and Naoki didn't turn up. Kotoko
tried to rush there but Naoki tells her no need and
he said as long as there are 2 of them it's enough
for celebrating. He then said next time let's work
together, wife. (Something like that...can't
translate directly) As it turns out, that night they
celebrated their anniversary by drinking canned
drinks outside and together alone.....^_^
============================
Koko/Miki
is partnered with Kotoko in another exercise with
disastrous results...;;^^ Keita finding out about
this doesn't seem to be his usual self where he would
scold Kotoko. Koko/Miki blames Kotoko and suggest to
Kotoko that maybe she should spend a night with Keita
to give him one beautiful memory. Kotoko slapped her...;;^^
The
teacher tells Kotoko that if this continues she will
not be able to get her grades. He then tells her that
he'll test her again in a week time and if she still
can't do it she might have to stay back a year...
Kotoko
finds out that Marina and Funetsu's date is around
the corner. Marina decides to drag Kotoko and Koko/Miki
along...
Meanwhile
Funetsu wrote out a plan of what he wants to do in
one of the operation classes annoying Naoki cause he
kept asking Naoki about what he thinks about it...;;^^
The date
started off with Funetsu being hopeful until he saw
Kotoko and Koko/Miki along...;;^^ The places that and
things that Funetsu likes really scares the girls....;;^^
While Funetsu apparently loves gore and blood....a
lot....;;^^ He sat through a scary movie without
flinching....;;^^
When
Marina finds out about his list of plans she tore it
up. They then go to a club where eventually Funetsu
shows his dancing skills....or rather lack of dancing
skills...;;^^ When a bunch of guys tries to pick
Marina up, Funetsu stops them. Unfortunately even
before he threw the first punch, he tripped and fell
unconcious...;;^^
Koko/Miki
had to carry him home. Despite how wrong the date
went, Marina comments that she won't mind going for
another one. Funetsu hearing this cries with tears of
joy....^_^
Kotoko is
practising for her test. Keita seeing this helps her
with practising. With Keita's Kotoko finally managed
to get it right. Kotoko is very happy. Keita then
asks her why she wants to be nurse. She tells him
that it's because Naoki wants to be a doctor. Keita
is a bit shocked and asks if that is it. He then
wishes Naoki and Kotoko happiness and tells Kotoko
good luck on the test.
Keita
looks for Naoki. He tells Naoki that he was helping
Kotoko with her injection practises until now. Naoki
tells him it must be hard on him, annoying Keita.
Keita then tells Naoki that he is gving up on Kotoko.
He tells him that no matter how annoying Naoki is
etc, as long as Kotoko is happy he won't say anything
anymore. Naoki then smiles smugly and says that Keita
finally realises that he cannot beat Kotoko's
feelings towards Naoki and Naoki remarks that Keita
should have given up long time ago, annoying Keita....;;^^
Meanwhile,
despite Keita's help, Kotoko still managed to bungle
up the injection practise...;;^^ However, Keita is
back to his normal self....:) He scolds Kotoko very
badly.....;;^^
Kotoko
finds out from Koko/Miki that there's a ceremony
coming up. This ceremony is the first step in
becoming a nurse. Marina also revealed that in this
ceremony it'll be good if the nursing students gets
flowers from the medical students that they like. As
Kotoko and her friends peek out the hallway, the hall
was filled with girls asking the medical doctors to
give them flowers.
Koko/Miki,
Marina and Tomoko wonders who they should ask, Kotoko
tells them that in this area she's very lucky as she
has Naoki. When Kotoko tells him about this, he told
Kotoko he can't as he is busy that night with the
professor. He also said something like doing things
that embarrassed him, he don't want to do. Kotoko is
devastated..... Even that night she refused to speak
to Naoki....
In
school, the hospital head nurse started praising
Kotoko cause she's Naoki's wife...she is sure that
Naoki's wife will be as good as Naoki etc. Kotoko is
a bit horrified cause this head nurse was supposedly
very fierce to people she don't like. She informs
Koko/Miki that she cannot wear a dress (nurse uniform)
but she/he has to wear a plain white uniform only.
Koko/Miki is devastated about this...;;^^ The head
nurse then says that Kotoko will lead in the ceremony
cause she is after all Naoki's wife...;;^^
Kotoko
practises the vow that has to be recited in the
ceremony without success when Koko/Miki helps her.
Kotoko then thought up of an idea for Koko/Miki to
wear the dress in the ceremony....
Im the
ceremony, Kotoko received the head dress (the one
that nurses wore). As she was accepting it, Kotoko
thinks to herself that now she has accepted Naoki a
little bit and wished that Naoki was there to see her.
Koko/Miki
appears in a dress during the ceremony angering the
head nurse. However, due to everyone's support for
Koko/Miki, she relents and Koko/Miki received her
headdress in a dress.
Kotoko
recited her vow without a hitch and as she does it,
she was thinking of Naoki.....:)
Meanwhile,
Naoki kept looking at his watch. His professor wanted
to bring Naoki to see this other famous doctor. But
as he spoke, Naoki says, "Professor......"
Meanwhile
back at the ceremony, everyone was receiving flowers.
Marina got hers from Funetsu. :) Kotoko received one
too from Keita and Koko/Miki.
As Kotoko
is sitting alone in the hall thinking about
everything, she hears a noise and got a fright. It's
only Naoki. Naoki tells her that he tried to get
flowers but the shops has already closed. Kotoko
tells him she doesn't need that, she only wants Naoki
to see her....
Naoki
then picks up Kotoko's head dress that she dropped
when she got a fright. He then puts it on her and
asks her to recite her vow. As Kotoko is repeating
her vow for Naoki, he hugged her as she cried.......
